Samir Omara

Samir Omara has been a teacher of English and a teacher trainer for 20 years. He has diplomas in education, special education and in educational leadership.

He has presented at recent conferences including the International Language Assessment Conference Egypt (ILACE); the Nile Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages Conference (NileTESOL), the International Perspectives on Assessing World Languages (IPAWL) organized by the British Council and the American University in Cairo (AUC), the Inspire Egypt Education Debate organized by the British Embassy Cairo, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL Chicago) and BETT Show London.

Samir has Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL course) at the University of Exeter and Management and Leadership Development (MLD course) at the University of Westminster in the UK. He recently received the “UK Alumni Professional Achievement Award” and is head of professional development for Teachers First Egypt.
