EFF3: Making Learning Relevant

The theme for the third EFF debate was Making Learning Relevant. For the first time, the event was available to view LIVE! If you were unable to tune in live, you can catch up on what was said by watching the debate highlights below.

This debate was led by guest presenter Trudi van Wyk from the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), an intergovernmental organization created by Commonwealth Heads of Government to encourage the development and sharing of open learning/distance education knowledge, resources and technologies. COL is helping developing nations improve access to quality education and training.

22 Foundation Fellows from 13 countries took part in the event, including Lord Puttnam, Professor Adrian Oldknow, Haif Bannayan and Dr. Michelle Selinger. Special guests included Janet Looney and Tarek Shawki, as well as Mario Franco and Dr. Fred Mednick.
