Marianne Hagelia

Marianne HageliaMarianne Hagelia is a lecturer, writer, debater and teacher. She refers to herself as the typical nerd, which is not obvious when you see her. Marianne works as counsellor at Dept for Media and Communication Technology at Volda University College in Norway, where she is responsible for Digital Competencies in Learning students and curriculum. She is also a Ph.D. Fellow for ICT in Learning at Norwegian University of Science and Technology. And – as the creative soul she is, she designs clothes for dogs and sells them online. The day prior to EFf 13, she will hold a lecture about “Digital studying techniques – how to learn in the 21st Century”, placing her metaphorically in the chair next to Howard Rheingold among the debaters participating from Trondheim
