Rittika Parruck
Rittika taught science at a girl’s residential school for six years before joining the British Council’s School Programme team at New Delhi 11 years ago. Currently, as the Assistant Director Schools she is responsible for rolling out the British Council School s’ Strategy across India.
British Council engages with over 3500 schools through the Connecting Classroom programme in both government and private sector through the length and breadth of the country. The focus of British Council’s work in India is to support teachers develop pedagogy for nurturing core skills or 21st Century skills in young people in schools through school to school collaborations, face to face and online capacity building workshops as well as encouraging teachers through benchmarking schemes, recognitions and awards.
