Greg Butler has worked in the area of Cross-Sector Partnerships for over 20 years, in both the public and private sectors. Currently he leads Collaborative Impact, an international Social Purpose Corporation focused on Partnership and Innovation Brokering.
Over the last 10 years he had roles that led Microsoft’s efforts in partnership building in the education area, first in designing and implementing Microsoft’s global Partners in Learning initiative, and more recently in coordinating and supporting Microsoft’s strategic global education partnerships with organizations such as UNESCO, The Commonwealth, OECD and others.
Greg is currently Chair of the International Partnerships Brokers Association, an accredited PBA Partnership Broker and Mentor and Authorized Partnership Brokers Training Level 1 Trainer. He also is a graduate of the Post-Graduate Cross-Sector Partnerships program at the University of Cambridge.
Greg is passionate about partnerships as a model to address major societal challenges including tapping into the power of ICT to transform learning, engagement and improving student outcomes.
