Dan BuckleyCurrently Deputy Headteacher of Saltash.net Community School and Head of the Primary Sector of the Multi Academy Trust.

Dan started his career as a secondary school science teacher winning a UK National Teacher of the Year award for Innovation and Creativity.  He progressed through school management positions, winning the UK BECTA Secondary Leadership award in 2003.  In 2004 he joined Mott Macdonald, Cambridge Education eventually becoming their International Director of Pedagogy, Research and Development working with schools and ministries in over 30 countries.

Dan has gained international recognition for his work in personalisation and his SECRET skills (www.learningbyladders.com) are used as the basis of essential competencies in schools across the world.   He developed peer assessment  software which earned him a place in the BETT awards of 2007 and in 2010 Dan was commissioned by Microsoft to write their Partners in Learning Worldwide Innovative Schools workshops.
